We had to get Finau ready to take to Sana so she could watch him & while I was getting his things together I kept hearing Filipo talking to him saying "I'm gonna make you look so hot for the girls" & "Make you look hot like your dad" hahaha...and then I heard him say "Go Yankees" so I thought he put on this outfit that was this Yankee suit for 9 months but when I turn around Filipo put a size 3 toddler basketball uniform on him, he was drowning and it was too funny but before I could take a picture Filipo put him in his spiderman outfit which was still too big but too cute.

Bishop Compton called us into his office to get to know our family. After talking for awhile he asked us this question "The most surprising thing about being a new parent is....?" I hadn't really thought about it that much but I responded first and said how surprised I was about how much I worry about him. I'll be in class and even when mom and dad were here and I knew he was in good hands I worried about whether he was okay and if he had everything he needs. I just want to give him the best life I possibly can and protect him from the cruel things in life, I just don't want him to suffer any pain and be the happiest he can be. Filipo said the most surprising thing to him is when he's holding him and looks down and realizes that he's finally a parent, now it's a reality. It's amazing to him that he has the responsibility for this little boy and he's just amazed by him. He loves to just hold him and stare at him for hours. Bishop then told us that the most surprising thing to him when he had his kids was walking across campus to his office and noticing how calm everyone was, a major event had just occurred and everyone was acting like nothing had happened.

Mum & Dad have been here for a month helping us take care of baby and doing so much for us, there's no way we could return all of their generosity & kindness. Over the past month we've been able to spend some time doing different things with them and it's been so nice having them here. They left today to go back to Virginia and when Filipo left to work it was just me and the baby. I started to cry because the thought of having to be on my own now and the responsibility of Finau just rushed over me. I scared Finau with my crying and he started to cry to so I sucked it up and we spent the night with Tema & Alani watching movies, trying on clothes from Fatai, and just having a good time. Happy Halloween :)
